Christ Carries Working Faith

The heart of the race of faith is Jesus Himself. Hebrews 12:2 commands believers to fix their eyes on Christ—the author and perfecter of faith—who endured the cross and is now exalted. Everything about our faith begins and ends with Him. He sustains all things, empowers believers, and exemplifies perfect endurance. Without Christ, faith has no foundation and no power. To run the race faithfully, one must look to Jesus for strength, direction, and purpose. True endurance is only possible when every aspect of life is rooted in Him.

Questions to Consider:

  1. What does it mean to “fix your eyes on Jesus” in practical terms?
  2. How does Jesus’ example on the cross shape your understanding of endurance?
  3. Are your words and actions done “for Christ and through Christ”?
