Devotional Focus: When God's Timing Prevails

After years of waiting, Joseph’s moment finally comes. He is called out of prison to interpret Pharaoh’s dreams, and in one divine moment, his life is completely transformed—he goes from a prisoner to the second-in-command of Egypt!

Joseph’s story reminds us that God’s timing is perfect. The waiting wasn’t wasted. Every hardship Joseph endured prepared him for this moment. If he had been released earlier, he wouldn’t have been in the right place at the right time to step into his God-ordained destiny.

As moms, we sometimes feel like we’re stuck in a long season of preparation—raising children, waiting for prayers to be answered, or trusting God for the fulfillment of His promises. But God never forgets. Just like He remembered Joseph, He remembers you. Your faithfulness in the waiting will lead to a harvest in due season.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for reminding me that Your timing is always perfect. Help me to trust You even when it feels like I’m waiting too long. Give me faith and patience, knowing that You are preparing me for something greater. I surrender my plans to You and trust that You will bring them to pass in Your perfect time. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
