Main Idea: Decision Point

You’re made to look like your heavenly Father, to live out your true identity as His child, holy and good.

If you want to follow God and be adopted into His family, you can ask Him to be your Father and help you live like Him. Just pray something like, ‘God, I want to follow You and live like You.’

If you already follow Jesus, think about one way to live out your identity as God’s child this week. Maybe that’s a sin you need to cut out. Or maybe it’s something good you need to do, like forgiving someone, helping them, or doing something difficult that you know you’re supposed to do.

Reflection Questions:

• What does it mean to you to live out your identity as a child of God, holy and good?
• If you are deciding to follow Jesus for the first time, what step can you take today to fully commit to living like Him?
• For those who already follow Jesus, what is one specific area of your life this week where you can actively reflect God’s character?
