Take time to pray about everything you have learned this past week.
Guided Prayer:
- Thank God that through Jesus, you’ve been set free from sin’s control and given a brand-new identity as His child.
- Confess any ways you’ve been chasing false versions of freedom, living for comfort, control, or your own desires instead of God’s will.
- Surrender every part of your life to Jesus’ leadership and ask Him to be not just your Savior, but also your Lord and king.
- Praise Jesus for His perfect love, wisdom, and authority, that He made you, knows you completely, and leads you into true freedom.
- Pray for the courage to live out your purpose boldly, like the two men in the story, so that your life points others to the freedom found only in Christ.
