How am I identified with Christ in baptism?
Romans 6:3-5 tells us that baptism identifies a saved believer with Christ. That identity is with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. Baptism is a way of saying to everyone, “Jesus saved me, and I’m not ashamed of Him. I now want to live for Him.” It is a symbolic first step of obedience after a person gets saved.
