Warring for Your Prophetic Wordنموونە

Between Promise and Fulfilment
There is always a gap between what God promised and when it appears. Usually, it's measured in time. That gap is bridged by prayer. Without doubt, there is a promise. The prophecy is also sure. But in between, there must be prayer.
Prayer anchors prophecy. It keeps your heart aligned when circumstances seem opposite to what God said. It also keeps Satan from interfering. Even Jesus prayed over God’s promises. He didn’t assume they would happen automatically.
When God told Isaac to stay in the land, it looked foolish. But obedience produced abundance. Likewise, God may give you instructions that don’t make sense, like stay, sow, or serve. But your obedience in prayer turns impossible conditions into harvest fields.
Do not call the prophecy false just because it tarries. Keep praying. Keep pressing.
Reflection Questions
- What “waiting season” are you in right now?
- How can you strengthen your prayer life while waiting for God’s word to manifest?
