The Pursuit - 12 Weeksنموونە

Paul begins nearly every letter with a prayer, and Philippians 1 is one of the most beautiful examples. He thanks God for the believers, prays for their growth in love and discernment, and expresses confidence that “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” That’s the secret to disciple-making: prayer fuels perseverance.
Prayer is more than a pre-meeting ritual; it’s the power source of your ministry. When you pray for those you’re discipling, you partner with the Holy Spirit in shaping hearts you could never reach alone. Prayer reminds you that growth doesn’t come from your wisdom but from God’s grace.
Keep a prayer journal for your discipleship relationships. Write names, needs, and milestones. Celebrate answered prayers and stay faithful in the silent seasons. The people you mentor should know you’re praying for them — it builds trust and deepens relationship.
When Paul says, “I hold you in my heart,” it’s not poetic fluff; it’s the posture of a true disciple-maker.
Reflection:
Who are you praying for right now, and how could you make prayer a more intentional part of your disciple-making rhythm?
