The Pursuit - 12 Weeksنموونە

Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He gave His followers one final promise and one great purpose: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses….” (Acts 1:8)
With those words, Jesus set the trajectory for the rest of history. The mission was clear—make disciples of all nations. But notice something important: Jesus didn’t send them out until they were empowered. He told them to wait for the Holy Spirit. Why? Because the mission of God can’t be accomplished by human strength alone. It requires divine power.
When the Spirit came at Pentecost (Acts 2), ordinary men and women were transformed into bold witnesses. Peter, who had once denied Jesus out of fear, stood up and preached to thousands. Believers who had been timid now prayed with courage, loved with generosity, and shared the gospel despite persecution.
The same Spirit who turned a small band of believers into a global movement is still writing that story through people like you. The mission hasn’t changed, and neither has the power behind it.
Reflection:
What step of courageous obedience could you take this week to share Jesus with someone?
