Day 18 — The Light of the World

Scripture: John 1:9–14 — “The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.”

Devotional Thought: John’s Gospel declares Jesus as the true light, the eternal Word who became flesh. His light doesn’t just illuminate; it transforms. It reveals truth, exposes darkness, and brings new life. This is the heart of Christmas: God stepped into our story so that His light could fill our hearts forever.

Prayer Prompt: Jesus, thank You for being my light. Chase away every shadow and help me walk in Your truth and grace.

Daily Challenge: Turn off your lights for a moment tonight. Reflect on what it means that Jesus stepped into our darkness with His eternal light.
