We are not on this journey with God in isolation. An essential part of God’s plan for people is for them to be part of the larger family he is building through his church. In today’s reading, Paul reminds us that we are joined together (across boundaries of time and space) as a place where God lives – with Jesus as the one who holds it all together.
Read Ephesians 2:19-22 and Ephesians 3:1-13.
Do you see yourself as connected and part of the larger community of the church? What people or activities has God used to help you experience connection? Take a moment to pray and thank God for a person or a place in the church that has helped you experience God’s presence.

Here's the deal. You were not placed on this planet for nothing. And you also weren't placed here for just anything. God created you with a specific plan in mind: to worship and reflect him in all you do. That is your purpose. And while it might seem daunting to live a godly life in today's culture, rest assured -- you are right where he wants you. You were made for this. This reading plan will guide you to read through two books of the Bible (Colossians and Ephesians).
