Putting God in first place throughout our week is a way to remember that we depend on him. We can’t do his work with our own energy, disconnected from him, or we will dry up or burn out.
Read Isaiah 58:11.
Questions to consider:
- What’s the status of your spiritual tank (picture the fuel indicator on a car)?
- How can you reconnect to God today and receive what only he can offer?
An action step to take:
- In the morning, thank God for a new day that is a fresh start.
- In the evening, before you go to sleep, thank God for giving you rest.
