Day 22: Perspective—God’s Thoughts and Ways

During a mission trip, I met a woman who illustrated the beauty of God’s design through a beautiful tapestry rug. She explained that one side of the carpet showcased an attractive design, while the other side revealed only threads and knots. She emphasized that God sees the complete design, while we on earth only see the threads and knots that come together to create that beauty. This reminded me of Isaiah 55:8-9, which tells us that we can only see a fraction of what God is doing; we do not have the whole picture. From our limited perspective, we may not always understand how God is carefully orchestrating the details of our lives to create a beautiful masterpiece. One day, God willing, we will understand.
