DAY THREE: WALKING IN LOVE AND FREEDOM

THE WORD

• Old Testament: “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house… nor anything that is your neighbor’s.” – Exodus 20:17
• New Testament: “Love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4
• New Testament: “Let us walk properly, as in the day… not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh.” – Romans 13:13–14

The ultimate antidote to jealousy is love. Scripture makes it clear that love “does not envy,” because it seeks the good of others before self. Jealousy binds the heart in bitterness, but love releases freedom and joy. The Spirit produces this kind of love in us, transforming our hearts so we can rejoice in others’ blessings without fear of losing our own.

The Holy Spirit not only delivers us from jealousy but also empowers us to walk in victory over it daily. As we put on Christ, envy loses its grip, and love becomes our nature. Through Him, we can be free to bless, to celebrate, and to walk in unity with others as one family of God.

DECLARATION

By the power of the Holy Spirit, I walk in love, freedom, and victory over jealousy.

PRAYER FOCUS

Lord Jesus, I surrender every jealous thought and comparison at Your feet. Holy Spirit, fill my heart with Your love, that I may rejoice in others and glorify Christ in my life. Deliver me completely from envy and establish me in the freedom of salvation. Today, I put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and I walk in love and victory; in Jesus Name, Amen.
