What the Bible Says About Thanksgiving, Rejoicing, Generosity, and Blessingsنموونە

Thanksgiving – 1
(King David) appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, to extol, thank, and praise the LORD, the God of Israel.
They were also to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD. They were to do the same in the evening.
Hezekiah assigned the priests and Levites to divisions—each of them according to their duties as priests or Levites—to offer burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, to minister, to give thanks and to sing praises at the gates of the LORD’s dwelling.
Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High.
I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the LORD.
I am under vows to you, my God; I will present my thank offerings to you. For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.
I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving. This will please the Lord more than an ox, more than a bull with its horns and hooves.
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
