Day 21: A Call to Return (Malachi 3:1-2, 7)

Daily Thread: Malachi, the last prophet of the Old Testament, spoke to the promised remnants of the tribes who had returned from exile. Though scattered and diminished, the twelve tribes were still recognized as God’s covenant people. Malachi called them back to faithfulness, reminding them that God’s covenant with their ancestors was not forgotten. His prophecy pointed forward to the coming of John the Baptist and Christ, who would bring restoration for Israel and the nations.
