Legacy Lessons W/Vance K. Jacksonنموونە

Notice this key and very important point. Eve was formed from the rib of man and not the dust of the ground. God could have reached into the Earth and formed Eve from the dust of the ground. But God did a new thing. Instead of reaching into the dust of the ground God reached into Adam. God didn’t start over when He formed Eve—He built upon obedience. Adam’s legacy. God pulled Eve out of the “wholeness” of Adam. Future generations are built upon the wholeness of past generations.
God built Eve off of the obedience of Adam. Obedience lays the foundation for the future generations. Adam was found faithful stewarding the Garden. Eve was formed after Adam obeyed God. Adam submitted to God and then help came. Eve was presented by God after Adam obeyed. Obedience produces legacy. Disobedience deteriorates destiny.
God builds upon the obedience of the faithful. Eve didn’t show up until Adam was walking in purpose. God presented Eve to Adam once He consistently followed God. Adam was faithful to God’s Command. God saw the faithfulness of Adam and pulled out Eve from his rib. God multiplies obedience. God reached into Adam and pulled out Eve. God saw that the ground of Adam was good and He pulled out fruit—Eve.
Adam was good soil. God didn’t have to start at the ground level to build the next generation. He saw what Adam was building and decided to build upon the foundation that Adam had laid. What foundation are you laying for the ground of your home? Are you good soil? Can God reach inside of the soil of your heart and build something new? Eve was built to multiply. What will God pull out of you? What’s inside of you? What ideas, businesses, gifts and abilities are waiting to be pulled out of you?
Eve was a multiplier and Adam was the seed. God the supplier—reached down into his creation and pulled out more fruit. Satan wants to contaminate your fruit. Satan wants to taint your soil. If Satan can taint the soil of your heart he can limit your legacy. If God reached into the soil of your heart—what type of fruit would He pull out? Eve was formed from the submission and obedience of man. Adam was not the Creator—Adam was made in the image of God and submitted to His authority. Adam did not create Eve, nor did he create the Garden—Adam submitted to God’s process.
A submitted vessel will produce fruit in God’s timing. Submit to God’s timing. You don’t have to force fruit. Submit to the Hand of God and He will exalt you in due time. Submit to His timing and He’ll multiply you in His season. Eve was presented to Adam. God pulled Eve from the inside. Multiplication happens from the inside—out. Manipulation happens on the outside in. Satan manipulates.
