30 Scripture Based Prayers for Your Marriage

ڕۆژی3 لە 30

Father, bind us together in perfect unity.

Scripture reminds us again and again that the real enemy we face isn’t our spouse, isn’t the conflict, isn’t the hard season, but Satan himself. The enemy of our soul is also the enemy of our marriage. While we may be tempted to turn against each other, Satan’s goal is always the same: to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 NIV). He aims to divide what God has joined together.

That’s why we must choose to “put on love” like it says in Colossians 3:14 (NIV). Christ’s love for us was sacrificial, unearned, and unconditional, and that is the kind of love we are called to extend to our spouse. This love helps us remember that our spouse is not the enemy and allows us to reflect Christ’s love for the Church in how we love one another.

Colossians 3:14 says love can “bind together in perfect unity.” That is what love can do for your marriage. It is this love that unites, heals, and restores.

Today’s Prayer:

Lord, bind our hearts together in your love. Help us to stand united, not allowing the enemy’s lies or schemes to divide us. May our love for you be the foundation that strengthens our love for one another. Amen.
