Human Blood Stains, but the Blood of Jesus Christ Washes Whiter than Snow!

1 John 1:7 (NKJV) declares, “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” How much sin? All!

I’ve heard, “But Pastor, I’m hooked on heroin.” The answer is simple: His blood can set you free. Others say, “I’m involved in the occult, horoscopes, Satanism, and pornography.” Again, His blood can set you free. “I’m emotionally dominated by fear, depression, an uncontrollable temper, hate, resentment, and rejection.” Jesus’ blood will set you free!

The joy of salvation is knowing you are saved through faith in Jesus, by His blood, from sin and Hell, for abundant and eternal life!

But what about those who once knew the joy of salvation and then turned away? What about the prodigal sons and daughters — the ones who once walked in faith but let sin, shame, or the world’s distractions pull them away from God? Jesus answers this question in one of the most powerful parables ever told.

A young man, once secure in his father’s house, decided he wanted to live life on his terms. He took his inheritance early, ran far from home, and wasted everything on reckless living. When he had nothing left — broke, starving, and humiliated — he realized the servants in his father’s house lived better than he did.

He thought he had ruined everything. He thought his father would never take him back. As he returned home, he planned to beg for a servant’s position. But as soon as his father saw him, he ran to meet him! Before he could even finish his apology, his father embraced him, clothed him in the finest robe, and threw a feast to celebrate his return.

That’s the heart of God toward every prodigal. No matter how far you’ve wandered or how many mistakes you’ve made, you are still His child. The moment you turn to Him, He runs to you with open arms!
