What no cobbler can do

Have you ever given your shoe to a cobbler to get it fixed, only for it to break again the next day? No matter how many nails and super glue the cobbler uses, sometimes it just won’t hold.

Thankfully, when Jesus fixes something, it won’t break again.

Can you imagine if Jesus’ forgiveness was like the cobbler’s glue—barely holding for a day, only to fall apart again? Your old mistake would be exposed all over again.

Hello, disappointment, disillusionment...

But Jesus isn’t in the business of patching things up; He knows that doesn’t work (Mark 2:21-22).

Instead, He makes things completely new again.

Do you know the verse that gives you the solid assurance that God makes all things new?

Here it is in the Amplified version:

Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. – 2 Corinthians 5:17

You can proclaim this verse with me and declare it over your life:

Therefore if I, ________, am in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], I am a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [my previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come for me [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].

Isn’t God’s love for you amazing?

Everything in you has been made new. Your past—who you were before you met Jesus—doesn’t define you anymore. With Him, everything is good, new, solid, and sturdy.

Your God will not fail you.

Hey! You are a Chamatkar.
