Jesus First in Everythingنموونە

Jesus Shows Us Who God Is
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.” Colossians 1:15 (ESV).
God is invisible, but Jesus makes Him known. When we look at Jesus—His words, His actions, His love—we see what God is truly like. Jesus is not just similar to God; He is the full image of God. If we want to understand God’s heart, we need to look at Jesus.
Do you think of God the same way you think of Jesus? How can you grow closer to God by learning more about Jesus?
Prayer: Father God, Thank You for showing Yourself through Jesus. Help me to know You better as I learn more about who Jesus is. Teach me to trust and follow Him each day. In Jesus name, Amen.

Jesus is more than a teacher or a good example. He is the center of everything. In Colossians 1:15–18, we see that Jesus is the image of God, the Creator of the world, the One who holds everything together, and the Head of the Church. These truths show us why Jesus should be first in every part of our lives. Over the next five days, this devotional will help you know Jesus better and make Him your top priority.
