Meditating on God's Greatnessنموونە

Remembering God’s faithfulness
“Let them thank the Lord for His steadfast love,
for His wondrous works to the children of man!” (Psalm 107:8 ESV).
On more than one occasion, I have recalled how, in the midst of difficulties, God has shown mercy. One morning, while going through a period of economic uncertainty, I woke up feeling that my soul was “thirsty” for hope and resources to support my family. Checking emails from my cell phone, I found an announcement of a temporary job that I was not expecting: they were offering a grant for a research project for only one month, just when I thought there was no way out. Without thinking, I sent my application and, to my astonishment, I was selected. That unexpected income covered expenses that I thought I could not afford.
Weeks later, a close relative became seriously ill. Without enough money for the operation, I relied on prayer and the promise that “He sent out his word and healed them” (Psalm 107:20 ESV). Surprisingly, the operation was successful and, subsequently, the diagnosis changed completely: the doctors could not believe the miraculous recovery. That experience reminded me that even in the chaos of the “stormy wind” (verse 25), God works to satisfy our spirit and heal our body.
Each wonder I experienced has left me with a strong desire to praise Him and share in His faithfulness. I have seen how, when all seems lost, His word brings salvation, comfort, and provision. That is why I encourage you today to review your personal timeline: you will surely find testimonies of His faithfulness that invite you to give thanks and to keep hope alive.
