Blessings & Battlefields: Let’s Grab for Gratitude!نموونە

Day Three
Believe in His Fullness
What does it feel like to be full? Maybe it feels like we have had enough to eat, maybe we are surrounded by our loved ones, and all of us are happy. Possibly, we feel full when we are giving away our talents, time, and expertise. On the flip side, we can be full of ourselves, too! Yikes! When we are only focused on our own thoughts, our own well-being, or our own comfort, we are full of ourselves.
But what does it feel like to be so aware of our glorious God that our souls are full? Have you ever experienced that? If you have, I imagine you want to hold on to that feeling for a lifetime, craving to flourish in His fullness every day.
His fullness breathes life into our being. It completes us, saves us, shapes us, challenges us, and refines us. His fullness flows over us. It flows in us and over our earth. His fullness loves us! His fullness brings us peace. Shalom is the Hebrew word for peace. The root of Shalom is actually “completeness and wholeness.”His fullness transforms us to be complete, whole, and at peace in Him. Which in turn, reshapes our hearts and souls to grab for Gratitude unto Him!
Living in thankfulness isn’t just noticing His fullness once in a while in our busy lives, but believing in His fullness to guide and protect us daily and momentarily. Believe in our Father God who created you for according to Psalm 139:14: “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
Believe in our Savior Jesus Christ for according to John 3:16, “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Believe you can forgive others. Ephesians 4:32 assures us we can “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Believe in yourself. According to Jeremiah 29:11, God shares, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Believe you have gifts that can serve others. 1 Corinthians 12: 4-6 tells us, “There are different kinds of gifts. But it is the same Holy Spirit Who gives them. There are different kinds of work to be done for Him. But the work is for the same Lord. There are different ways of doing His work. But it is the same God who uses all these ways in all people.”
Believe in His purposes in you. He created you, and according to Romans 8:28, “we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Believe in others. Jesus came for all of us. According to John 3:17, “God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
Believe in His strength within you. “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him” (Psalm 28:7).
Believe you can overcome from His victory. Stand on His word, for according to Ephesians 6:10, we are to “be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”
Believe His word. Psalm 119:105 tells us, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
Believe He is the Word. According to John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
BELIEVE, SEE, FEEL, and TASTE the fullness of God! “Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him” (Psalm 34:8).
He is everywhere, knows everything, and is all-powerful – omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. Since He is all these things. How can we not constantly grab for Gratitude unto Him? Believe in His fullness by living and grabbing for Gratitude for our glorious God!
Let’s pray:
Lord God, You are the fullness of life. Thank You for giving us life, breath, and love. You are in all things and of all things. Every good and perfect gift comes from above. We see you in the skies, the mountains, and in the deserts. All of creation cries out to You. We need You, Lord. You are our living water, refreshing us every day. Encourage us Father God, to wholly live in Your fullness. Grant us many days that we can bow down to You in humble gratitude because we completely believe in Your fullness.
In Your mighty name,
Amen
Questions to Ponder:
1) Do you believe in the fullness of God?
2) Where do you SEE His fullness in the world and in your life?
3) How can you be transformed by His fullness?
4) Because you are transformed, how can you be more thankful?
