Devotional:
John the Baptist had a platform. He was followed, respected, and heard. But when Jesus arrived, John didn’t try to keep the spotlight. He said, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30). In a culture that glorifies visibility, John teaches us that true greatness lies in pointing others to Christ.

Fame is temporary; faith is eternal. When we seek popularity more than faithfulness, we reverse the values of the Kingdom. Influence is not an end—it’s a means to glorify God.

Prayer: Lord, deliver me from the vanity of fame. Let my life point to Christ and not to myself.
