Come Holy Spirit: A Journey Through Acts With Lumoنموونە

The Holy Spirit Empowers
In this video, we see Peter, an uneducated, ordinary fisherman, standing in front of Israel’s most powerful scholars and religious leaders. Rather than cowering in the face of intimidation, Peter speaks boldly and confidently. Where did this power come from? It was not Peter’s knowledge or training that gave him courage. Acts 4:8 tells us that the Spirit of God filled him.
The same Spirit who filled Peter fills us today!
In spite of our insecurities, God invites us to walk with Him and actively participate in His plan. He does not just tolerate our human weakness; He delights in using our ordinary, limited selves to accomplish His purposes. Being ordinary is not something to overcome; it is often where God meets us and works through us most. It is in the midst of our most ordinary moments that we encounter the most extraordinary God.
What if you shifted your perspective that you are too ordinary to be used by God? What if, instead, you believed that in your ordinary life, God sees you as a vessel of His extraordinary presence?
This shift in thinking invites the Spirit to change the way you worship, pray, and understand God. Trust in the Spirit’s power and invite Him to teach you how to live in God’s strength, joy, and purpose.
Next time you question your ability to be used by God, remember that the Holy Spirit empowers you to share God’s truth—not because of your strength, but because of His power in you.
Reflection:
Where do you feel pressure to prove yourself, instead of trusting the Spirit’s power?
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, I believe that You are active in my life. Give me boldness to be obedient to what You are calling me to do. Help me see that this is not about my weaknesses but about Your power.
