Struggling With Loving the Man You Marriedنموونە

Day 5: Your Husband is God’s Son First
Before he was your husband, he was God’s son. That means he is deeply loved, divinely purposed, and divinely protected. When you view him this way, it brings a new level of reverence—not just for your marriage, but for God’s hand on his life.
You’re not just a wife—you’re a partner in your husband’s destiny. And as long as you both are still standing, God is still working.
Your husband may not be perfect, but neither are you. Still, God called you both into this covenant, and He is more than able to finish what He started.
Scripture for Meditation:
"Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
— Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
Prayer:
Father, remind me that my husband is Your son first. Teach me to honor the man You are shaping and trust that You are faithful to complete the good work You started in him—and in us.
Action Step:
Do one small act of kindness for your husband today without expecting anything in return—just as an offering of love.
I pray this devotional has encouraged your heart and strengthened your marriage. If it’s blessed you in any way, we’d love for you to follow us and leave a 5-star review to help others find this resource too.
