Build A Life On His Words

At the end of one of His most famous teachings—the Sermon on the Mount—Jesus told a story. Two people both build houses. Same storm. Same rain. But one house stands strong. The other collapses.

What’s the difference?

“Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
(Matthew 7:24 NIV)

It’s not about how much you’ve heard.
It’s not about how moved you feel.
It’s about whether you practice what He taught.

Jesus isn’t asking for admiration. He’s inviting you into a whole new foundation.
Not sand, not shifting emotions, not cultural pressure, but rock.

This is where the journey moves from curiosity to change. Because when His words go from being interesting to internal, everything starts to shift.

“Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.” (John 13:17 NIV)

Jesus knew storms would come. He wasn’t selling good vibes. He was offering a stable reality. A way of living that stands when everything else falls.
