Connect With God Through Solitude | 7-Day Devotionalنموونە

Come Away with Him
Solitude opens a door for intimacy with God, our Father in Heaven. Jesus often went away to the wilderness to be alone with God, demonstrating how He connected with God through Solitude.
God deeply desires this kind of intimacy with His children. Although He is with you all the time, He loves it when you get alone with Him and give Him your full attention. This honors God and gives Him room to not only love you and hear your heart, but also provides a space for Him to share His heart with you.
When you think about your deepest relationships—your spouse, best friends, a trusted advisor, or parent—your most intimate conversations are usually held in private, free from distractions. It is in this place of one-on-one intimacy that you feel safe sharing your heart and connecting on a deeper level. Whether you connect with God in your closet, in your car, or out on a trail somewhere, the beauty of Solitude is that you get away with God, remove all distractions, and say, “Father, I just want you.”
Prayer
God, thank you for full communion with You. I give You my undivided attention in this moment. I want to connect with You deeply. Speak to my heart and let me see Your face. Amen.
Application
- Make some time today to find a quiet place to be with the Lord.
- Remove distractions and allow God to look in your eyes by giving Him your full attention and experiencing His devoted love for you.

There is only one way to God, and it's through Jesus. But in Jesus, there are many ways to connect with God. One way is through Solitude. Connecting with God through Solitude is when you desire to give God all of your attention and affection by being alone with Him. You can be intimate and vulnerable with the Lord when it’s just you and Him in the room. Through this 7-Day devotional, our goal is that you would walk away equipped to connect with God in this way!
