The Lighthouse in the Fogنموونە

Little Lighthouses
“‘You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.’” (Matthew 5:14-16 NIV).
The Great Work
Christ is not only shining His light to rescue the lost—He’s transforming them into little lighthouses to shine His hope to others. He calls us the “light of the world” (Matthew 5:14). As lights, we’re to shine with Christ, bringing hope to those in darkness (Ephesians 5:8).
To those farther away from the Great Lighthouse, we are the guiding lights that lead them toward Him (Philippians 2:15; 1 Peter 2:9).
How to Shine
Shine by showing love, compassion, care—and by boldly sharing the full message of salvation. Speak of God’s love, but don’t confuse that love with tolerance of sin. God is holy and just—no guilty person will go unpunished (Nahum 1:2–3).
Conclusion
Our earthly life may seem confusing and uncertain, but Christ is the lighthouse who lights our way, removes our fears, and gives us hope. He invites you to look to His light and be saved. In the end, love will triumph, and we will be with Him forever (Revelation 21:1-5)!
