One Verse From Every Chapter in 30 Daysنموونە

One verse from every chapter of the entire Bible in 30 days? That’s kind of an ambitious goal! Yep, we’re going to be flying. Hold on to your hat.
The purpose of this Plan is to get a bird’s-eye view of the heart and provision of God for His people throughout all time, and to better grasp the unity of the Bible. By looking at one verse from each chapter of every book, we’ll see themes emerge throughout the Bible—like how God is the same from beginning to end, and how He always seeks an intimate relationship with the people He lovingly made.
We’ll power walk through the Old Testament and New Testament simultaneously in about 40 verses per day. Sometimes there will be three or four consecutive verses from a chapter to capture an entire thought.
Every day, we’ll read a verse each from ...
- Five Psalms in order: four to begin your daily reading and one to wrap it up.
- Eight or nine New Testament chapters, in chronological order, not book order.
- 25 chapters of history or prophecy from the Old Testament, in chronological order.
- One chapter of Proverbs, in order.
Today, let’s kick off this adventure with a verse from each of these chapters:
- Psalms 1-5
- Matthew 1-4, Mark 1, Luke 1-3, John 1
- Genesis 1-25
- Proverbs 1
Find something that especially stands out to you, and talk with God about it.
