Day 3: Say What?
Have you ever called someone a name that you would probably not find on the Bible app? The reality is that I have, and as I have learned during my life as a Christian, words are and have power. I have repented for saying the wrong words toward others.
When you verbalize words to yourself about your life (I’m ____ ), these words and thoughts can give life or “death” (as seen in Proverbs). I would encourage you to begin to say some “soul food” verses over your life today:
“I am the righteousness of God in Christ” 2 Corinthians 5:21
“I will sing to the Lord for He has been good to me” Psalm 13:6
“Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world” 1 John 4:4
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not be in want.” Psalm 23:1
Do you know what will happen when you begin to say verses like these? You trust God, and there is no reason for your soul to worry about your future. I pray this plan has laid the foundation for a healthy soul. Be blessed today!
