God's Great Story

Creation

You’ve been created with love for the mission

The world didn’t start with chaos or by some chance. It all started with beauty, order and goodness. God has created the world as a home, and a man as a bearer of His image. In the Bible we see God not just creating the man, but endowing him with worthiness, purpose and closeness to Himself. A man is created to reflect God, take care of and advance the creation, build relations of love with others and live in harmony with himself. Our worthiness does not depend on what we do, but on Who we belong to.

From the very beginning, in God’s Kingdom there was a place for wholeness, labor, responsibility and joy. This is the opening scene of the great story. If you live, it means you are already important. You are not an accident. You are a part of God’s plan. And that plan has got deep meaning.

In all His creation, God saw goodness; and in the appearance of man, He saw the completeness and fullness of His intent; that’s why He said: very good.

Questions to ask yourself:

  • Where am I trying to find my worth – in God’s image or in achievements?
  • What is my unique task as part of God’s plan?
  • When looking at the world, about what can I say that this is good?

Prayer:

Oh, Lord, thank You for creating me with love and purpose. Help me see You as a Source of my worth and meaning. Help me live in harmony with Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God's Great Story

Every person craves sense. We want to know where from and why we are here, what’s wrong with this world, is there hope and how that all is going to end. In this short plan we’ll dive into four great acts of God’s story – Creation, the Fall, Redemption and Restoration. It’s not just some theological scheme, but the live story — and God invites everyone in. And if we get this story right, we’ll be able to get a clearer view of not only God, but ourselves and our place in this world.
