At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's...
SPEND TIME WITH GOD
There's no formula or one right way to spend time with God. Whether you already know how you like to spend time with God, or you're still trying to understand how to hear God's voice, today's challenge is going to help you experiment with some new ways of connecting with God. Try it and see what you discover about God—and about yourself, too!
Spend time with God in a public place that will open your eyes to people around you who you can share Jesus' love with. This could be at a local park, a coffee shop, too. While there, you could journal or add some notes to your phone about the people you see and what you imagine their needs might be. Pray silently that God will give you compassion for those around you, and provide future opportunities to share your faith with those you see or people like them.

Sharing our faith isn’t just about having the perfect words—it’s about how we live. In this 4-week devotional from Grow Curriculum, we’ll explore how Daniel and his friends pointed others to God through their actions. Their reputation showed that faith is shared not just in words but in how we live daily. We’ll also see how the right friends can encourage us to live out our faith.
