At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's...
USE YOUR GIFTS
God has given all of us unique gifts. Whether it's your skills, talents, character traits, experiences, lessons learned, or even some of the stuff you own, you have a lot you can share with others. Today's challenge is going to help you think about the gifts God has uniquely given you, and how you can use those gifts to love God and others. Because when we use our gifts for God, we grow!
Being skilled at something or having a gift doesn't always mean we feel confident about sharing that with others. Or maybe we know we're good at something but hold back because we don't think others deserve to be served or we think it's boring.
Jesus' rescue is an act of love that shows all he is able to do. In the same way, we can use our gifts to show Jesus' love and power to others. This week, use one of your gifts to do exactly that. Choose a gift you've been ignoring or have been doing with the wrong motivation. Think of a way you can serve others by doing it.
Before you go, ask God to help you be a light to others. Look for ways your actions can spread the news about Jesus' rescue and love.

In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we’ll take a look at some big questions Jesus asked.
