Holy Holy (Always Be)نموونە

Have you ever been to a restaurant or seen a movie that was so good you couldn’t help but tell all your friends? On a greater scale, have you ever been around a newly engaged couple that somehow finds a way to interject their significant other into the conversation? And don’t forget about the new parent or grandparent, who at any chance, is going to bring out the newest photos of their new bundle of joy. The point is, you can’t help but to share and speak about it all because it’s such a good thing.
In Revelation 4, John writes about a second vision that occurs in heaven where God’s throne is. John heard and he saw the 24 elders and the four living creatures worshipping God. Together they are a picture of God being praised for ever by all of creation. What an awesome vision and experience that must have been! We get to have a small glimpse of this vision every time we gather together to worship God. It’s amazing to me that a holy God draws near to speak to simple humans.
As a basketball fan, I can’t help but notice that when a certain player goes to the free throw line and has been playing at an exceptionally high level night after night, the fans begin chanting MVP over and over. There is an acknowledgment of what he has been doing, what he has done in that moment to shoot more shots at a free throw line, and what he will continue to do as the game and the season goes on. It’s simply an acknowledgment of a player.
This is who our God is but far greater! He is the one who existed before the beginning of time and placed things into motion with galaxies and all. The one who is still putting things into motion for us today, and the one who will always be! He is set apart from any other gods and we are in awe of Him!
He is holy, holy, holy, and will always be!
