Learning to Prayنموونە

The Simplicity of Prayer
"Lord, the one you love is sick" (John 11:3).
Mary’s simple message said everything that needed to be said and demonstrated all the faith and love needed. No other words were necessary. Jesus responded with His very greatest miracle – He raised Lazarus back to life.
If you and I were having a meal together and you needed the butter, you would simply ask me to pass the butter. And I would pass it.
In its essence Prayer is always that simple.

The many, many different forms of Prayer are like Fields on a large Farm. You and I are like a farmer living in the center of the Farm. As we pray we move from Field to Field, from one type of Prayer to another. We go into some Fields every day, others only occasionally. Come and join us in this Devotion as we explore what that might look like as we learn to pray together.
