God as Your Planmaker - Jeremiah 29:11نموونە

One of the biggest challenges for believers is trusting God in difficult times. I’ll be honest—I struggle with this daily!
This topic also arises as we continue this week’s study of Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
When we read this verse, a logical next question is: if God’s plans are not to harm us, how come believers get harmed sometimes? Doesn’t God’s plan always prevail?
Please note that Jeremiah 29:11 doesn’t say that “harm will never befall you” or “you will never feel harmed.” In fact, just a few verses before, we can read that God says, “All those I carried into exile” (Jeremiah 29:4). Is God saying He inflicted this painful experience of being exiled on His people?🤔
Yes, sometimes God allows difficult or painful things to happen to His people, but we can trust that His plan is ALWAYS to use these situations for good, to prosper us, and to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28
The Bible tells us that:
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. – Psalm 34:19
If you are feeling harmed, continue to trust God. This is not the end of the story. Don’t place a period where God only put a comma!
Hey! You are a Chamatkar.
