Is your heart hardened to the kindness of Jesus?

A man with a withered hand stands before Jesus, and the Pharisees test Him: will Jesus heal on the Sabbath? Instead of answering directly, Jesus exposes their hypocrisy. If they would rescue a sheep from a pit on the Sabbath—how much more valuable is a person?

Here, the glory of God is displayed in Jesus’ authority to restore the man’s hand, but the religious leaders, blind to God’s compassion, plot to destroy the very One bringing life! Isaiah 42:6-7 speaks of the Messiah opening blind eyes and setting captives free, yet these religious leaders reject Him.
