Day 4: The Power of the Holy Spirit

Scripture: Acts 1:8

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Reflection:

Going deeper in God is not just for personal growth but spiritual empowerment. The Holy Spirit fills us with power, boldness, and supernatural gifts so that we can impact the world for Christ.

Many believers live without fully engaging with the Holy Spirit, operating in their own strength instead of God’s power. But the Bible is clear—Jesus told His disciples to wait for the Spirit before stepping into ministry. This shows us that God never intended for us to live our faith without His power.

Are you relying on your own strength, or are you living in the power of the Holy Spirit? Have you sought baptism or fresh infilling of the Spirit? God is calling you to go deeper into the Spirit’s power, to step into a supernatural life of faith.

Pray for baptism or a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit today. If you have a prayer language (speaking in tongues), use it. If not, ask God for a fresh infilling of His spirit and wait in His presence.

Prayer:

"Holy Spirit, fill me afresh today. Let me not rely on my own strength but be empowered by You. I surrender to Your leading and ask for a deeper awareness of Your presence. Baptize me with Your fire and use me for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
