An Easter Mentality All Year Longنموونە

WHAT HAPPENS AT CONCEPTION
Jesus is the Light of the World, but did you know the miracle that happens at conception? According to scientists, they have captured images of a flash of light that sparks when a human sperm cell contacts the egg at conception. They found that zinc atoms caused the sparks of light. (Please google and find several reputable articles on this topic). The mystery of life is nothing short of miraculous!
"In Him was life, and that life was the light of men." John 1:4
Without faith, one might have difficulty wrapping one's head around the Immaculate Conception when the Holy Spirit of God overshadowed Mary.
"And the angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God." Luke 1:35
As we approach the season of Easter, the tradition of dying eggs is on the 'things to do list'. The tradition has gone on for centuries and is an ancient symbol of new life. From a Christian perspective, Easter eggs represent Jesus' resurrection.
Human life involves making a woman's eggs fertile from a man's sperm. When this process is successful, the egg travels to the woman's uterus, and implantation begins when it attaches to the lining of the uterus. If the sperm doesn't fertilize an egg, the egg dissolves.
God has always had 'life' in mind.
"I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore, you shall choose life so that you may live, you and your descendants."Deuteronomy 30:19
God
• Formed Light
• Jesus was with God from the beginning and HE is Light.
• Formed life
• Conquered death with life
• Created a way through Jesus to live eternally with Him
Prayer: Father, We praise You. We are in a season where the world will hear Your name as Easter is celebrated. May we renew our minds during this time, realizing that You are the Father of Life! In Jesus' Name. Amen

I am intrigued by the miracle of life formed at conception. Scientists have discovered that light happens at that moment—the moment life happens, there is light! This is another reminder of the power of Christ's Resurrection. That same power will one day bring us into His everlasting Light! As we reflect on the Light and the Life of the World, may we live as if it is Easter daily!
