Day 1: God’s Forgiveness for Us

Psalm 103:10-12

"He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."

Reflection:
God’s forgiveness is complete and absolute. He doesn’t just cover up our sins—He removes them entirely.

This passage reminds us of how limitless His mercy is. "As far as the east is from the west" is a poetic way of saying that our sins are removed forever, never to return.

We often struggle to grasp this kind of grace because, as humans, we remember wrongs. But God doesn’t hold our past against us. Instead, He invites us into a new beginning, washed clean by His love. Take a moment to reflect: Are you carrying guilt that God has already forgiven? If so, release it into His hands.
