The Breath of Lentنموونە

Do you remember when you first met Jesus? Do you remember when you accepted Him as your Savior? So many are passionate about the gospel when they first experience salvation. They cannot help but share Jesus with the people around them. That joy of salvation is what the Psalmist is asking to restore.
Is your spirit willing? Are you ready to say yes to what the Lord asks of you? For so many, we live life in a way that we are consistently pulled too thin. The feeling of being at capacity or burnt out can yield an unwillingness to form in our spirits. But a willing spirit will sustain you. That does not mean that you cannot say no. Sometimes, that is what the Lord is asking of us. But is your spirit in a state of willingness to do what the Lord is asking of you?
Inhale: Create in me a pure heart, O God
Exhale: and renew a steadfast spirit within me
