• JESUS teaches His disciples that love is the most important priority of the KINGDOM OF GOD.

• True love originated in the Holy Trinity and was manifested in JESUS’ sacrifice on the cross.

• Love is manifested through obedience to God, bearing fruit, and sharing with the other followers of CHRIST.

The highest priority of the KINGDOM OF GOD is love. The origin of true love is in the Holy Trinity. From there, love pours over the disciples through JESUS. True love is not just an emotion and does not consist of words but is proved through sacrifice, and JESUS has proved His love for mankind through His sacrifice on the cross. JESUS also tells the disciples that love consists of obedience to God. In other words, no one can say that they love God and at the same time in their life disobey God’s will and His commandments. Obedience to God and fulfilling His commandments will make us fruitful for His KINGDOM. After being Born Again and receiving the HOLY SPIRIT we became more than just friends of JESUS. The Christian’s status is that of brother of JESUS and child of God. Thus, the love of the Holy Trinity is shared with us, God’s children, and we also share it amongst ourselves as brothers.
