Facing Giants: A 6 Day Journey to Courage and Faithنموونە

Day 5: Confidence in God, Not Circumstances
Imagine a child crossing a busy street while holding their parent’s hand. The child isn’t afraid because they trust their parent’s guidance and protection. Likewise, when you place your hand in God’s, you can walk confidently through life’s challenges.
David’s confidence when facing Goliath didn’t come from the size of his weapon or his own strength. It came from the unshakable belief that God was with him. While Goliath towered over him with weapons of war, David’s greatest weapon was his faith in the Living God. He didn’t focus on the giant's size but on his God's Greatness.
When we place our confidence in God, it transforms how we approach life’s challenges. Confidence in God shifts your focus from the size of the problem to the Greatness of the One who fights for you. Obstacles that once seemed insurmountable become opportunities to see God’s Power at work. Remember, faith in God is stronger than anything the world can offer.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to trust You fully and to place my confidence in Your Strength, not my own. Amen.
