Life is filled with moments where our desired plans don't unfold as expected. Disappointment, failure to fulfill one’s hope, often comes when we place our hope in outcomes. Outcomes are circumstantial, unpredictable, and temporary. However, God is reminding the Israelites, and us, that He is faithful, trustworthy, and unchanging. When we place our hope in the Lord, it is not wishful thinking but a confident expectation rooted in His love, power, and promises.
Prayer
Dear Lord, we thank you for being our unshakable hope. When we feel uncertain or disappointed, help us to trust in your promises and remember Your faithfulness. Strengthen our faith to rely on You, knowing that those who hope in You will not be disappointed. We love you Lord. Amen.
