Come Up Higher: A Call to Deeper Fellowship and Purposeنموونە

THE POWER OF GODLY RELATIONSHIPS
Ascending higher often involves surrounding yourself with people who challenge and inspire you to grow. Godly relationships are catalysts for spiritual elevation. They provide encouragement, correction, and accountability.
Consider Jonathan and David, whose covenant friendship strengthened David during some of his darkest days (1 Samuel 18:1-4). Similarly, Jesus surrounded Himself with a circle of disciples who shared His Mission and learned from His Example. Relationships built on Godly principles are not only supportive but also transformative.
Take stock of the relationships in your life. Are they drawing you closer to God or pulling you away? Seek out those who will walk with you in faith and cheer you on as you pursue God’s Higher Calling. Proverbs 27:17 says, “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”
THOUGHT TO PONDER: Do the relationships in your life reflect God’s Purpose for you? What steps can you take to build or strengthen Godly connections?
PRAYER: Lord, surround me with relationships that Glorify You and draw me closer to Your Purpose. Help me to be a source of encouragement and strength to others. Amen.
