Book of Danielنموونە

In verses 27 and 28, Daniel says to Nebuchadnezzar, “No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries.”
It’s easy to read a story like the one found in this passage and focus on Daniel’s actions. He was, no doubt, someone full of courage, faith, and humility, and he serves as an example for us today. However, as inspiring as Daniel may be, this story and this book are not about Daniel. Daniel is a member of the supporting cast, and God is the main character of this story. The exile from Israel, Daniel’s rise to influence, and many more things to come in the Book of Daniel all point to one essential truth: No matter who is in the position of power, prominence, or influence, God is the one in control.
Prayer:
Father, help us to recognize and acknowledge that all wisdom and blessings come from You. Give us the boldness to stand in Your truth and the humility to point others to Your greatness. May we always use the gifts You give us to bring glory to Your name. Amen.
