Do you stand for Christ, even when it’s difficult?

In John 18, Peter denies Jesus three times, despite earlier claiming he would lay down his life for Him. When challenged, Peter said, "I am not". The fear of man and the pressure of the moment caused Peter to deny knowing Him. Yet, Jesus remained faithful, standing before Pilate and declaring, "To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth" (John 18:37). Peter’s failure reminds us how easy it is to deny Christ through our actions or words when faced with fear or opposition. But Jesus’ courage shows us how to stand firm in truth, no matter the cost.

Do you boldly identify with Christ in your daily life? Are there times when fear holds you back from sharing your faith? Ask God for strength to stand for Him, knowing He stood for you. Even if you fail like Peter, remember that Jesus offers grace and restoration!
