A Year in Luke/Actsنموونە

Luke 22 starts with Jesus and his disciples celebrating Passover - where we get to see the Lord’s Supper play out for the first time. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to have an act that Jesus invites us to partake with Him and remember His sacrifice. In Luke 22:19 Jesus says we should “do this in remembrance of me." This of course has to do with memory, but it is also about re-remembering. Paul says we are the body of Christ (1 Cor 12) so when we receive communion we re-remember ourselves into the Body of Christ. We remember we are a member of something much bigger than ourselves.
