God's Promises in Painful Timesنموونە

God has a purpose
Often, our first question when we are dealing with hurt or pain is, “Why is this happening to me?” We live a good life; we do things for others, we follow Jesus. So…why?
God says in various ways in the Bible that he does his best work through our weakness. Our pain and difficulty are an opportunity to put his strength on display through us. And when he can act on our behalf when we’re down, it grows our faith and gets us closer to becoming the people he created us to be. He just asks us to trust in him in the process.
In today’s verses, you will see how God promises to work in the midst of our pain and how he has a purpose for times of trouble. As you read through them, pray to him and ask him to reveal what his purpose is in your pain.
