Living with an Eternal Perspective
“Return, O LORD! How long? Have pity on your servants” Psalm 90:13 (ESV).
The psalmist expresses a longing for God’s presence and justice, encouraging us to live with an eternal perspective. While we plan for the future, we should live ready for Jesus’ return, valuing each moment and seeking to honor him. Are you living as if Jesus could return today? How does this perspective shape your actions?
Prayer: Father God, Please help me to live with an eternal perspective, always ready for Jesus’ return. May I honor you in my actions, living in a way that reflects my hope in you. In Jesus name, Amen.

This Psalm encourages us to “number our days.” Over seven days, we will reflect on how to align our lives with God’s eternal perspective by managing our time wisely, living with expectation, depending on His strength, and seeking his Favor. May this devotional bring you closer to God’s heart and guide you to live each day with wisdom and joy.
